3 Reasons Why Manifesting Actually Works

In my personal growth journey I have learned the practice of manifesting and I wanted to share 3 reasons why I believe manifesting works. This is a mental health practice and the idea behind it is that you are using your mind to create dreams & desires for your life by putting these positive thoughts/affirmations/manifestations out into the universe. It is a beautiful practice that requires you to actively use your mind to change your thought process from the negative that might surround you, and see it from a positive light. So here is my list of reasons why I think manifesting actually works. 

1 - Creating a Positive Headspace

First, the act of manifesting is actually creating a positive headspace for you to live in. Again, you are turning the negative, or areas of lack in your life, into positive or abundant thoughts for your future. 

Having a positive headspace to live in makes it easier to connect to happiness, joy, peace, and other positive emotions while stepping away from self-limiting beliefs. 

Creating a positive headspace also allows us to become more mindful, because we are letting go of the stress and dysfunction of the day, allowing us to experience the moment we are in instead of worrying about the future or stressing about the past. 

2 - Connecting to your authentic self daily

Manifesting is supposed to be the practice of connecting to your truest dreams and desires for life and putting out the intentions/affirmations/thoughts that they will come true. When we are doing this we are connecting to our authentic selves because we are acknowledging and recognizing what our truest desires are for life. It’s important to note that the Law of Attraction and manifesting does not work if you allow your ego to sway your dreams, or you have ill-intentions behind your manifesting. The universe can recognize when you are being honest and true to yourself.

When we connect to our authentic selves regularly we learn what we are passionate about, we know what brings us joy and peace, we are able to connect to other like-minded souls, and we allow ourselves to heal and grow to become the best version of ourselves. 

3. Gratitude Galore

When I manifest I am able to see all the beauty and prosperity in my life which brings me to a place where I am filled with gratitude. By manifesting I am creating situations I want in my life that I will be grateful for, so I experience gratitude towards the universe as if I am already experiencing the things I am manifesting for. 

Recognizing all the things to be grateful for in life actually opens my eyes to more gratitude. That’s right when I practice gratitude on a regular basis my list grows larger and larger because I am able to see more beauty that surrounds me in life. 

These are 3 of the reasons why I believe manifesting works. And to be honest, even if you don’t believe it works completely, I will still be over here manifesting because of these three things it does do for me! Manifesting helps me to create a positive headspace to live in, it helps me connect to my authentic self daily, and I have so much gratitude for life, for myself, and for my experiences.

Manifesting will continue to be one of my mental health practices.
